# Managing In-Person Survey Access

In-Person Access allows respondents to complete surveys at a study site without logging into a MyVeeva for Patients account. If captured by the site, the respondent will confirm their year of birth to access the surveys.

## Understanding and Viewing In-Person Survey Access Levels

This setting can be controlled at the following levels:

* Study (Studio setting)
* Country (Vault setting)
* Site (Vault setting)

The top-level setting is in Studio, which enables In-Person Access for all sites. When disabled at the country- or site-level in Vault, the setting overrides the study-level setting. If this setting is disabled at any level that affects a site, sites do not have acecss to the Start In Person button in Veeva eCOA.

By default, In-Person Access is enabled at the study, country, and site levels.

A site’s access to In-Person Access varies based on enablement settings. See the table below for more information.
