# Deploying Collections to Sites

Before you deploy a collection to a site, it has to be <a href="/en/gr/912963/">approved</a>, and you have to make the languages available for the site. After you add the languages, you can deploy a version to a single site or bulk deploy a version to multiple sites.

## Adding a Language to a Country

1. In Studio, open Study Settings. 
2. Open **Deployments**. 
3. Select **Edit** <i class="fal fa-pen" width="1 rem"></i> next to the country. Manage Country Languages opens.

4. Select the languages you want to include.
5. To make all selected languages available for all sites in the county, turn on **Apply selected languages to the sites within this country**.

6. Select **Save**.

## Deploying a Collection to a Single Site

1. In Studio, open Study Settings. 
2. Open **Deployments**. 
3. Select **Edit** <i class="fal fa-pen" width="1 rem"></i> next to a site. Manage Site opens.
4. Select the collection version you want to deploy, and the languages you want to deploy it in.
5. Select **Next**.
6. If you want the site to manually activate the version, turn off **Activate for Site**. If you do not select this option, the version will automatically be activated for the site.
7. Select **Deploy**. The version and deployment status are displayed on the table.

## Bulk Deploying a Collection

1. In Studio, open Study Settings. 
2. Open **Deployments**. 
3. Select **Bulk Deploy**. The Make Changes page opens.
4. Select the sites you want to send the collection to.
5. Select the collection version you want to send to the sites.
6. If you select sites from a single country and you want to change which languages in that country you deploy for, select **Edit Languages**, and add and remove languages as needed.
7. Select **Next**. The Review Changes table opens.
8. If you want the site to manually activate the version, turn off **Activate for Site**. If you do not select this option, the version will automatically be activated for the site.
9. Select **Deploy**. The version and deployment status are displayed on the table.

## Forcefully Activating a Version for a Site

If you sent a version to a site for them to activate, you can still choose to activate it for them by completing the following steps:

1. In Studio, open **Deployments**. 
2. Select **Edit** <i class="fal fa-pen" width="1 rem"></i> next to a site. Manage Site opens.
3. Select **Force Activate**. Review Changes opens.
4. Make sure **Activate for Site** is turned on, and select **Deploy**. The collection version is activated for the site.
