You can run several types of reports for Veeva eCOA. See the following sections for more information.

Study Home

You can use the Reports tab in Study Home to access the following reports.

  • Standard Reports
    • Survey Data: This report contains the current data for all surveys. It also includes any derived scores associated with a survey.
    • Participant Events: This report contains each participant event along with the corresponding entered event datetime.
    • Participant Groups: The report is only available if the study has groups configured. This report shows the current groups each participant is assigned to.
    • Compliance: This report contains a record for every survey with its related adherence status.
    • Data Changes: This report contains all data changes that were made after initial collection.
  • Audit Trail Reports
    • Studio and Study Home: This report contains the audited activities for changes that are made in Studio and Study Home.
    • Site Non-Clinical Data: This report contains all the audited non-clinical activities performed by site users and participants.
    • Site Clinical Data: This report contains audited actions that involve creating, modifying, or removing clinical data.
  • Criteria Check Reports
    • Criteria Check Rule Output: These reports are only available if the study has criteria check events configured. Criteria check rule output reports are named based on the name of the criteria check event, and can be generated separately for each criteria check event. The report will contain data from each time a site user ran the criteria check.
  • Custom Exports: These reports are only available if configured in Studio and made available to Study Home. These report names and contents vary based on how they were configured in Studio.

Studio

You can use Studio to configure data reports and automated transfers using CDB, FTP, or outbound API calls. As part of the eCOA collection, you can also download various reports and documents relating to the study design, surveys, and translations.

  • Exports
    • Custom Exports: Allows you to create custom data exports. See Working with Custom Exports for more information.
      • Export Specification: Downloads a JSON file of an existing custom export to use as a template.
    • Export Jobs: Allows you to configure FTP connections and CDB connections. See Using FTP Connections to Export Data for more information.
    • Outbound API Call Log: This log is only available if outbound API calls are configured in the study. This log is a CSV file of all outbound API calls and status. See the Monitoring Outbound APIs section on the Working with Outbound APIs page.
  • eCOA Collection
    • Study Overview
    • Surveys
      • Export Mapping: Downloads a JSON file of your current survey export mapping. You can use it as a template for a new export. See the Configuring Export Mapping for more information.
    • Translations
      • Download Translation Files: Downloads JSON files containing all translations, untranslated text, or source-populated translations. See Downloading and Uploading Translations section on the Managing Study Languages and Translations page for more information.
      • Translation History Report: Generates a report displaying file upload changes between collection versions. See Viewing the Translation History Report section on the Managing Study Languages and Translations page for more information.

eCOA Vault

You can use eCOA Vault to run standard reports about user access and site closeout status. You can also use eCOA Vault to generate end-of-study media packages to close out a study.

  • Standard Vault Reports
    • Study & Site Staff Access Report: A report detailing the start and end dates of access for study and site staff for the selected study.
    • Site Staff Access Report: A report detailing the start and end dates of access for a site staff for the selected study.
    • Site Closeout Report: A report detailing site closeout status and end-of-study media acceptance.

Library Manager

You can use Library Manager to export information about your reusable surveys. This includes survey screenshots and translation files.

  • Surveys
    • Survey Screenshot Report: Generates a ZIP file of survey screenshots for languages with complete translations. See Generating a Survey Screenshot Report on the Exporting Library Contents page for more information.
    • Library Snapshot: Downloads a list of surveys that are included in your library. See Downloading a Library Snapshot on the Exporting Library Contents page for more information.
  • Translations
    • Download Translation Files: Downloads a JSON file containing all translations, untranslated text, or source-populated translations. See Adding Translations in Library Manager for more information.
