Use the Site Signature setting to require investigator review and signatures for specific data types. You can use a default signature statement or create a custom statement.
Turning On Required Data Signatures for Sites
- In Studio, open the Study Settings tab and select Site Signature.
- Select the checkboxes for the data types that require a signature.
- The Only Surveys with Data Changes option is selected under each data type by default. If you want to require signatures for all surveys, select All Surveys.
- Go to the Signature Statement section.
- Select Default Statement to use the standard system text that is provided and translated by Veeva into any supported site languages on your study, or select Custom Statement and enter the statement.
- If using a custom statement, for each supported site, add the translated statement or select Exclude Translations to show the English statement.
- Select Save.
Removing Signature Requirements
- In Studio, open the Study Settings tab and select Site Signature.
- Deselect the checkboxes for the data types that no longer require signatures.
- Select Save.
Editing the Signature Statement
- In Studio, open the Study Settings tab and select Site Signature.
- In the Signature Statement section, select Default Statement to use the standard system text that is provided and translated by Veeva into any supported site languages on your study, or select Custom Statement and enter the statement.
- If using a custom statement, for each supported site, add the translated statement or select Exclude Translations to show the English statement.
- Select Save.
