Adding a Study

  1. Select the Studies tab.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Add the information for the study, and select Save.

Your study is created.

Adding a Study Country

  1. Select your study in the Studies tab.
  2. In the Study Countries section, select Create.
  3. Add the information for the study country, and select Save. The country is added to the study.

See Updating Studies, Study Countries, and Study Sites for information on how to limit the collection of personally identifiable information (PII).

Adding a Study Site

  1. Select your study in the Studies tab.
  2. In the Study Sites section, select Create.
  3. Select a study country and select Continue.
  4. Add the information for the study site. Ensure that you add a Site Name and a Site Timezone so you can add site users later.
  5. Select Save.

The study site is added to the study country. You will need to set supported patient languages before you can activate the study. See Going Live with a Study on the Updating Studies, Study Countries, and Study Sites page for more information.

Appendix: Supported Site Languages

Based on local regulations, Veeva supports the languages below for site users in the listed countries.

  • Italy: Italian (Italy)
  • Japan: Japanese (Japan)
  • China: Simplified Chinese (China)
