Before you deploy a collection to a site, it has to be approved, and you have to make the languages available for the site. After you add the languages, you can deploy a version to a single site or bulk deploy a version to multiple sites.
Adding a Language to a Country
- In Studio, open Study Settings.
- Open Deployments.
- Select Edit next to the country. Manage Country Languages opens.
Note: You can only select languages that are included in an approved collection version. See Managing Study Languages and Translations for information on adding languages.
- Select the languages you want to include.
- To make all selected languages available for all sites in the county, turn on Apply selected languages to the sites within this country.
Note: This option is only available if no sites in the country have a version deployed yet
- Select Save.
Deploying a Collection to a Single Site
- In Studio, open Study Settings.
- Open Deployments.
- Select Edit next to a site. Manage Site opens.
- Select the collection version you want to deploy, and the languages you want to deploy it in.
- Select Next.
- If you want the site to manually activate the version, turn off Activate for Site. If you do not select this option, the version will automatically be activated for the site.
- Select Deploy. The version and deployment status are displayed on the table.
Bulk Deploying a Collection
- In Studio, open Study Settings.
- Open Deployments.
- Select Bulk Deploy. The Make Changes page opens.
- Select the sites you want to send the collection to.
- Select the collection version you want to send to the sites.
- If you select sites from a single country and you want to change which languages in that country you deploy for, select Edit Languages, and add and remove languages as needed.
- Select Next. The Review Changes table opens.
- If you want the site to manually activate the version, turn off Activate for Site. If you do not select this option, the version will automatically be activated for the site.
- Select Deploy. The version and deployment status are displayed on the table.
Forcefully Activating a Version for a Site
If you sent a version to a site for them to activate, you can still choose to activate it for them by completing the following steps:
- In Studio, open Deployments.
- Select Edit next to a site. Manage Site opens.
- Select Force Activate. Review Changes opens.
- Make sure Activate for Site is turned on, and select Deploy. The collection version is activated for the site.
