The study can be configured to require a temporary screening ID. The system will use the screening ID as the participant identifier until the site assigns a participant ID to the participant.
Important: This setting cannot be removed once it has been deployed to production.
Complete the following steps to require a screening ID:
- Open the collection and go to the Screening ID tab.
- Select Enabled.
- Configure an event to trigger a participant ID assignment. The study version will not be able to start UAT until an event is configured to prompt the site to set a participant ID.
